Graduated from the Faculty of Law, The University of Tokyo, and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stanford University.
She began her career at Citibank N.A., serving at both the Tokyo Branch and the New York Headquarters, before joining the global management consulting firm A.T. Kearney. She later served for nearly ten years as President of Super Nurse Co., Ltd., a nursing workforce solutions company, where she achieved sustained profitability and established a strong foundation for long-term growth.
In 2010, driven by a commitment to contribute more broadly to the healthcare and long-term care sectors beyond human resources services, she founded FIRSTSTAR Healthcare Co., Ltd., where she currently serves.
During this period, she was appointed President of Benesse MCM Corporation and FRONTEO Healthcare, Inc., successfully building scalable business structures and strengthening revenue foundations.
She has held numerous leadership and governance roles, including Outside Director of the Regional Economy Vitalization Corporation of Japan (until June 2018), OMRON Corporation (until June 2020), AIG Japan Holdings K.K. (until June 2025), Panasonic Corporation (until March 2025), and currently serves as Outside Director of Gunma Bank, Ltd. and Kewpie Corporation. She also serves as an Advisor to Panasonic Corporation.
She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a Steering Committee Member of Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives).
